Curtis Granderson delivers an RBI double to left field that hits the ballboy's stool, opening the scoring in the bottom of the 1st inning
Curtis Granderson drives in the first run of the game with an RBI double!
I don't like when you question our intelligence, Mr. Alderson. In regards to calling up Rosario "Can he pitch?". So you went from scoring the 5th fewest runs in baseball last year, from scoring 2.7 runs per game in a 1-9 stretch and yet you get cocky while scoring some runs in hitters parks against rebuilding teams/pitching??? Really? Why isn't there always room for improvement?? If offense isn't the issue, why aren't any of your positions prospects available for relievers? You're aware Bruce is slumping? You're aware Reyes and Granderson aren't hitting over the Mendoza line? You're aware Walker isn't going to give you what he gave last year? Youre aware Duda is a bum and TJ will now walk?? You realize Cabrera is hurt? You realize Rene is hitting like he's on roids? But yet, you think this hitting can be relied upon? Only 2 runs across tonight, couldn't score for Wheeler, couldn't out hit the Brewers, couldnt take the lead Wednesday. This isn't sustainable. You've been facing weak pitching. #FireSandy
didn't (still don't) know if it was the right call leaving him out there...but that was degrom's career in an inning: trouble, toughen up, escape. great to see him battle tonight.
I watch a lot of baseball games because we have direct ty. I have never seen or heard any other sports announcer from any other team belittle the players like the mets do to who ever they play against. Year after year.they r a disgrace to baseball and they themselves are doing terrible an d should not pull apart th or opposing teams. Grow up and stop playing children's little games. Righ now the mets stick
