We have celebrated yesterday the World Wide Pressure Injury Prevention Day with an awareness event for our patients, visitors and staff on pressure injury prevention. A pressure injury is defined as a localized damage to the skin and/or underlying soft tissue usually over a bony prominence or related to a medical or other device. The event included educational lectures held by our staff nurses.
