Meet the creature feature replacing "Dippy" at the Natural History Museum, London.
Its nickname? "Hope".
We visited the museum this year..... we were so disappointed and underwhelmed by the resin floors and claustrophobia of the exhibition designs..... and where have the great apes gone?! .... I was so looking forward to showing my son the grandeur of the building!!! It's now hidden by tat! .... the building was as much an exhibit as the items themselves..... such as shame.... and now no 'Dippy' ..... what a let down.... xx
Yes impressive but they have got it wrong. We still have Whales what we don't have is extinct frightening outsized killing machines which is what most people, young kids especially, are most in awe of and want to see.
Shane Conway - a whale has replaced our dinosaur. Kind of kills our joke.. "excuse me, do you where the dinosaur is??". Um, actually no. Not now!
