Bill Gates has kept his crown as the world's richest person, while U.S. President Donald Trump dropped more than 200 spots on the list of the
world’s richest billionaires compiled by Forbes magazine.
With an estimated $86 billion wealth, the Microsoft
(msft) co-founder and philanthropist has held the top spot for four consecutive years, Forbes
reports. Though he pledged to give away 99% of his wealth,
(brk.a) chief Warren Buffett followed close on his heels with an estimated fortune of $75.6 billion.
The top ten, dominated by Americans in the tech industry, also included
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos in third,
(fb) Mark Zuckerberg at the fifth spot and
(oclcf) co-founder Larry Ellison at number seven.
