Mark Wahlberg is still on top. The actor, who reprised his role as mechanic Cade Yeager in this year’s blockbuster, knocked out Dwayne Johnson as the highest-paid actor on
Forbes‘ annual list.
Wahlberg took home $68 million in pre-taxed earnings during Forbes‘ 12-month scoring period, dropping Dwayne Johnson down from No. 1 to second place — even though Johnson earned more than he did last year. The Baywatch and Fate of the Furious star
topped Forbes‘ ranking in 2016 with $64.5 million, and this year he’s got $65 million to his name.
Wahlberg will be seen later this year in
Daddy’s Home 2 and Ridley Scott’s
All the Money in the World.
