Jordan Clarkson is hitting his stride as a scorer and playmaker as the team's backup one-guard.
Luke Walton takes a direct approach if he feels that Jordan Clarkson is over-dribbling the ball.
“We keep it pretty simple,” Walton said at Tuesday’s practice. “We tell him to quit doing it if he does it.”
Clarkson has heeded Walton’s instructions to the benefit of the Lakers’ second unit.
As the team’s backup point guard, Clarkson is third among all bench players in scoring with 15.5 points per game.

Jordan Clarkson has been money this season, ranking third in off-the-bench scoring (15.5 ppg) while shooting the second-best field goal percentage among point guards (51.2).
Clarkson is not a pg his natural sg I don't know why the management and Luke give Clarkson the 1 position that they knew Clarkson is not doing very well. I think they used Clarkson to compare him to lonzo and market the name of ball that in his rookie year his better than Clarkson and has the right to be the leader of Lakers. And Luke has the right to put Clarkson in a second unit as a sixth man even if we knew it that Clarkson is a starter player. If Clarkson will play as an sg along with ball, he will ruined the marketing of the name of lonzo because we knew Clarkson will score a lot and people will talk a lot of him instead of ball. That's how I see it.
Lonzo needs to be benched and Clarkson needs to start.
JC's achievements so far will never be enough for "his haters". They will continue to ignore his good performances, magnify his mistakes and will be still clamoring for his being traded to another team.
Al Horford discusses matching the Brooklyn Nets' pace and urgency, as the C's look for their 13th straight victory.
Jordan Clarkson (25 points) got buckets from all three levels, while the Lakers collectively rained 3-pointers to beat Phoenix.
