For #TBT, we're looking back at Great Clips in Pacers History. In 2003, Jermaine O'Neal hit this gamewinner against the Detroit Pistons.
I remember this game. It took the refs looking at replays of all angles for 15 mins to determine if the ball was out of his hand before the buzzer. I remember begging for bedtime to be delayed to see if they were going to count the basket or not.
With this game winner, O’Neal had more than PG13 did in a Pacers jersey...
Please do a Paul George TBT gamewinner... oh wait, there's none.
When you put up big numbers, you end up on the hottest talk show in the nation. It was 1991 when Tom Chambers and Cotton Fitzsimmons appeared on the Arsenio Hall Show! #Since68 #RamCountry
“It’s been seamless, (even though) I thought there might be some bumps. But because of their willingness, and their knowledge of the game and their willingness to share the ball, and Chris and James both willing to be the sidekick for a play or two, then it’s worked out quicker than expected…. It’s worked out better than our wildest dreams.”
"A win, though, gives the Pacers a 14-11 record, just one-half game behind Detroit for fourth place in the Eastern Conference and several games ahead of where most people thought they would be."
New story from Pacers.com's Mark Montieth:
Victor Oladipo led all scorers with 27 points, including a big steal and three for the #PacersWin.
