Taking a selfie is far from a human need, but many people would agree that narcissists need it for their self-esteem.
So asking a stranger to take your picture in front of the Eiffel Tower with your camera was totally acceptable but now that technology allows you to do it yourself without bothering anyone you must have a mental health issue. Ok.
I think people take a lot of selfies, because they feel validated whenever other people like it. And without the validation from other people they feel unvalued.
This is a no brainer..... I've always felt those that consistently take large numbers of selfies and post are very self centred and must be looking for validation due to low self esteem
