YouTube has apologized after its family-friendly "Restricted Mode" recently blocked videos by gay, bisexual and transgender creators.
I am pro LGBT all the way , but some parents don't want to expose their kids to certain things and that's their right. We have to respect everyone's views . If this is a filter some parents want to use than fine....
The sky is falling. Run forest run. Maybe parents do not want to have their kids see that. Just force feed it down everyone's throat. Am I a bigot? No. I accept people for who they are. But I also respect parents who would not want their children to see that content based on their beliefs. What's next, transgender cartoons? So we teach children that this is the norm and influence them that way.
Maybe we should filter far right religious bs? Kids in the process of coming out need access to helpful sources. Seeing videos of others coming out helped me accept myself and come out. There's nothing wrong with being LGBTQ. We won't harm your children and you can't turn anyone gay. Hate is learned and this will just teach kids to hate. It's 2017. Gay people exist and we are normal.
