Liberty Mutual was the first company I ever worked for! I was a bodily injury claims adjuster working from the San Francisco office. The training and experience I received at Liberty served me well over the years! They set the gold standard for claims handling and they taught their people that they were the best the industry had to offer!

Liberty Mutual ticked me off so much over the last three months that I decided to call around today. I literally saved $70 a month on car insurance and over $1000 a year on my house! Why didn't I do this years ago!!!
They raised my rates $40 a month on our auto without telling me, charged me a late fee for not paying (I'm on auto pay) and won't take a supposed claim off my record that never existed - making it so that State Farm refused to insure me (for something that never happened) because it wouldn't go through underwriting. They're saying it was a State wide rate hike (then explain why none of my friends using other insurance companies had a rate hike?????). Two fairly new and safe cars, no accidents, no tickets, no nothing....and a JUMBO rate hike.....HA. Jokes on you.....hello Progressive insurance.
I have sent 15 snail mail letters and several messages on facebook about this and received messages that they were going to help and no one has ever contacted me, EVER. My attorney was copied on all of it. Liberty Mutual is claiming I never mailed, called, emailed nothing. I have proof with my ATTORNEY. Oh wait, you can't email them because everything is NOREPLY. Bye Bye Liberty Mutual. Good riddance!!! I went with Flo - and Progressives impeccable customer service - not to mention saving me $2000 a year on home and auto. YES THAT WAS TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!!!!
I should file class action if they really did hike peoples rates state wide without informing them. Not to mention I'm a Real Estate agent an no client of mine will EVER use Liberty Mutual. Way to tick off your best referral source!!

I have a claim showing up my insurance that was not a claim, a simple web form question. I get a call back from a "supervisor" about this false claim that's showing up against my homeowners insurance, and he can't even give me the dignity to leave a phone number to where I can call him back. His name is David Sutton. Not to mention I heard the entire conversation between him and the customer service rep - and they had the nerve to tell me he wasn't available to talk - REALLY. It looks like I have to get an attorney to get this claim that I never filed off my permanent record that I NEVER filed. State Farm won't insure me because Liberty Mutual has something on my record that I didn't do. Hopefully justice will be served.

It's my homeowners policy. I don't have it with me. I'm very busy and being on the phone 10 times with different people is wasting my time. My address is xxxxx Dr, xxxVA. There was some claim paid out at zero in 2015. It was in inquiry, and it shows up as an inquiry. All I did was ask a question. Even though it was a simple question, it will not get through State Farms underwriting and they say it needs to be removed. Period. I'm also a Real Estate agent so if this is the way Liberty Mutual keeps client, by knowing I can't get insured anywhere else, I will make sure none of clients ever use you and I will be all over all three Chamber's I belong to with this story. Thanks for trying to help, but I'm sure I will get the same answer from the management team that I have from customer service and David Sutton (supposedly a manager)
someone also needs to tell me why my car insurance policy went up 40 a month and neither of our cars or records have changed at all - no tickets,no accidents...flawless
I just got this from State Farm - I'm stuck with you guys for three years because of this.....I hope your attorney can shed some light on what else can be done to get this off your loss history. In regards to State Farm eligibility, a claim can impact your eligibility for 3 years.

Three people over there said it couldn't be removed. I don't have time to be on the phone. I'm a Real Estate agent. My time is money. Unless I'm getting a call or email saying this is off my record, Imy attorney will be filing today. I'm hoping to get class action too. Who knows how many people are in the same predicament because they made a phone call asking what to do. Suddenly that's a claim. I have email proof that I said not to file. . Again I appreciate your help, but the route you're going has already been well traveled. I want something in writing saying it has been removed
